we have the most yellow airport in the world, i am sure of it. it is very very yellow, and small. i can see it from almost every hill.

today i walked to the airport to get our weekly food mail. i love that i can walk to the airport. i love how my groceries arrive -- on a plane. in firm, neat cartons. they are certainly overpacked, and an old environmentalist in me cringes. yet every little plastic container is a surprise, and we do reuse the plastics.

i realised that i haven't eaten grapes or fresh strawberries, or cherries, or pears, since we arrived. or watermelons. i do order mangoes and avocados, though.

sh*t! i just realised that the 5 kg of apples that i ordered didn't arrive.
